Umee was created to change that.


 


It started with a group of volunteers—designers, engineers, researchers, and academics from around the world—who saw a problem few were solving. Technology was making everything more efficient, but it wasn’t making life feel more connected. We believed there was a better way.



 

Balancing full-time jobs and studies, we spent nights and weekends building Umee—a way to make shared spaces feel more personal and more like places you want to return to. Umee isn’t just another platform. It’s an invitation—to engage more, connect naturally, and turn routine visits into something more meaningful.
